Steve Kerr – Professional Career
Kerr was drafted in the second round of the 1988 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns and traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1989.
He spent three seasons there before joining the Orlando Magic for part of the 1992-93 season.
He joined the Chicago Bulls in 1993.
He was instrumental in the Bulls’ championship victory over the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals.
The Bulls won their fifth championship. At the 1997 All-Star Game, Kerr also won the 3-Point Shootout.
Kerr was dealt to the San Antonio Spurs during the 1998 offseason.
