His professional career began in 2017 when he was drafted with the 24th overall pick by the Boston Red Sox, and he was assigned to the Class A Short Season Lowell Spinners.

In 2019, he was assigned to the Class A Advanced Salem Red Sox, and he finished with an ERA of 4.24. In September of 2020, when MLB was postponed, he won his debut match against the Miami Marlins.

He was the fourth player in his team’s history to not allow an opponent to score a single run in his MLB debut. In the year 2021, he played a match against the Chicago White Sox in April, and he also won 4-0 against the Yankees.
