Tracy was a member of the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) during his time at Auburn University.

Tracy Rocker’s Professional Career
Tracy Rockers is well-known around the SEC for being a passionate athlete. He began his professional career while playing university football under the tutelage of Willie Hunter. He was a defensive tackle at the university and was a member of a team that set numerous records.
The National Football Foundation inducted him into the College Football Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions as a great player. In the summer of 2005, he was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
354 tackles, 21 quarterback sacks, and 48 tackles for loss are among his career highs. The Washington Redskins selected him in the third round of the NFL Draft in 1989.
Then he went on to play two incredible seasons for the team before finishing his college career with a one-year stint with the Orlando Thunder of the World League of American Football.
Tracy returned to Auburn to complete his degree education and to begin a new career as a coach. He was a standout on the field for the Auburn High School Tigers, and he also played for Ole Miss, Arkansas, Troy, and Cincinnati. After that, he joined the Tennessee Titans as a defensive line coach in February 2011.
Although the Titans’ management let him leave in January 2014, he began his career as a defensive line coach with the Georgia Bulldogs.
He was promoted to Associate Head Coach as a result of his significant contributions to the club, however, he was fired by the Bulldogs due to a minor recruiting violation.
