He co-founded the Electronic Music Studios (London) Ltd., which brought to market the first commercially available portable synthesizer. Tristram Cary was born on May 14, 1925, in England. He composed the music for the 1955 black comedy “The Ladykillers” starring Alec Guinness. He was a radar engineer for the Royal Navy during World War II.
