Following that, he worked for the Chicago Tribune for six years, from 2008 to 2013. During the Chicago Bulls’ postseason appearances, he assisted with NBA coverage. Following that, he joined the ESPN team in 2013.

He used to write for ESPN.com and appear on ESPN TV and radio shows such as SportsCenter and NFL Live.

For ESPN, he primarily covered the Atlanta Falcons beat. The reporter died on October 16, 2020, at his home near Atlanta. He was 48 years old. Sources have yet to reveal the reason and cause of his death.

On Father’s Day, June 21, 2020, he revealed that he suffered from depression as a result of the deaths of his father, mother, elder sister, and younger brother.
