Hutchinson, 59, was discovered dead in her Florida condominium in 2018.

During the search for Riess, police released security footage showing her leaving the condo,

leaving in the victim’s car, and donning her hat shortly after the murder.

Riess had led investigators on a cross-country search until being caught in Texas on April 19, 2018,

by two federal deputy marshals at a South Padre Island waterfront restaurant.

After then, a waiter at the restaurant identified her from the security footage released by the police.

Lois Riess, 57, was sentenced after pleading guilty to first-degree murder in the killing of Pamela Hutchinson in 2018.
