Is Yisenya Flores Arrested?

Yisenya Flores pled guilty to murder and endangering children and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

She will be eligible for parole after 15 years.

During the sentencing hearing, defense counsel Ronnie Wingate revealed that

his client had stopped taking numerous pricey prescription drugs for mental health months before.

He stated she had no intention of harming the child.

The prosecution, however, contended that the boy’s injuries could not have been caused by a single isolated incident, and the judge agreed.

The youngster’s injuries, according to the prosecution, did not match what

Flores informed emergency officials, who said the boy jumped from a bed to try to fly like Spider-Man.

Flores ultimately admitted that he had beaten the youngster the day before, which had caused him to become lethargic,

only half attentive, and unable to stand up. But she didn’t call 911 until the next evening.
