Yordan Alvarez, a well-known baseball player, is married to Monica Quiros, his long-term girlfriend. Monica Yulisa Quiros was born in Cuba in February 1998. She visited A.P. Leto High School is located in Tampa, Florida. They have been together since 2018, but it has not been confirmed when they began dating.

Yordan began his sports career in his home country of Cuba, where he spent two seasons in the Cuban National Series. He played for Leadores de Las Tunas despite leaving his country to seek permanent asylum in the United States.

Yordan moved to Haiti from Cuba in 2016 and registered as an international free agent. After being traded from the Houston Astors to the Los Angeles Dodgers, he began playing in the minor leagues. He began his 2021 season at the start of the year by being tested for the pandemic COVID-19. He returned to the field in August for two games before undergoing arthroscopic surgery on both knees.

On May 7, 2021, Alvarez drove in his 100th career run while playing in his 114th career game, which he won 10-4 over the Toronto Blue Jays. He was the seventh-fastest player in league history to reach 100 RBI, and the first man to do so since the expansion era began in 1961.

The next game he played was a loss to the Blue Jays with an overall score of 8-4. He had 103 RBI in 115 games. On September 13th, at the age of 24, Alvarez hit his 30th run of the season, becoming the second Astro in history to do so after Alex Bregman, who hit 31 in 2018.
