In 2010, Fogle and Cracknell planned to compete in the iconic Tour Divide competition, a 3,000-mile mountain bike race across the Rocky Mountains from Banff, Canada, to the Mexican border. 

American Matthew Lee holds the world record with a time of 17 days. 

The race was called off when Cracknell suffered life-threatening injuries after being knocked off his bike while training in America.

In 2011, he began filming a new show called A Year of Adventures. 

During the series, he also dived between the North American and European tectonic plates in Iceland. 

In 2013, Fogle and Cracknell paired up again for their third and final journey through Oman’s desert for a new BBC Two series.
