the popular family show, but he abruptly resigned after becoming embroiled in a scandal.

when it was uncovered that the celebrity made nasty remarks.
After an unsuccessful audition, the elderly gentleman exited the stage.

Walliams referred to him as “a cunt” three times when he was out of earshot.

David Walliams Apologizes For Disrespectful Remarks
David has apologized for making “disrespectful comments” during production breaks.
And his choice to leave the program was not made lightly, according to reports.
In October 2020, David Walliams will join the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent.
The obscene remarks were uttered during a pre-recorded audition performance at the London Palladium in January 2020.
Lawyers defending Walliams and Thames TV, the production company behind Britain’s Got Talent,
asserted that the statements were made in private and were never intended to be broadcast.
Devid decided to resign after a ten-year tenure because he wanted to go on a high note after such a great time, according to The Sun.
They went on to remark that being on the show had given him a lot of entertainment and joy
and that he was easily the most popular member of the panel.

However, a BGT representative informed The Mirror that the judging panel for the 2023 season would be disclosed in due course.

This isn’t the first time David has gotten into trouble.
In Little Britain, he and Matt Lucas were well-known for performing characters in blackface.
Matt dressed as Pastor Jesse King, while David dressed as Desiree DeVere.
The BBC withdrew “Little Britain” off iPlayer in 2020, stating how times had changed since the show initially aired on the network.
Matt and David released a statement expressing their disappointment with the decision.
They added that they had both openly acknowledged their remorse about playing roles of various races in previous years.
He also did a sketch called the predatory pedophile in the Little Britain live events.
Human rights activists condemned the action as “sickening and unacceptable.”
