Dwight Ramos’s Career

Walnut High School was where Filipino-American basketball player Dwight Ramos finished his formal education.

During his high school days, he played under head coach Joe khouzam.

Dwight was approached by the Ateneo de Manila University to play on their Blue Eagles squad.

Despite the fact that Ateneo was a viable alternative, the skilled athlete chose not to pursue his college basketball career in the Philippines.

He went on to play for the Cal State Fullerton Titans after enrolling at California State University.

He played one season with the Broncos of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona in the NCAA Division I from 2016 to 2018.

After that, Ramos headed to the Philippines to play for the Ateneo, but he had to serve a residency in 2019.

He was more than ready to make his UAAP season 83 debut.

The season, however, was canceled because of the COVID-19 epidemic.

He chose not to pursue the PBA draft in 2021 in order to play alongside his brother in Ateneo.

At the time, he was a member of the B League’s Toyama Grouses.

Ramos remained in the league, and the rest, as they say, is history.
