Lil Wop (also known by the stage names Lil Wop 17 and Little Wopster) is a young American rapper best known for his smash tune “Lost My Mind,” which was released in July 2017.

Lil Wop debuted in the music industry in 2014, when he was 19 years old, and began uploading his mixtapes and tracks to SoundCloud, a major music streaming service. Singles like “Perky’s & Molly’s,” “Hyped Out,” and “The Wopster” are among his early works (hence one of his stage names).

In the years that followed, he teamed up with his sister and an up-and-coming young rapper named Trippie Redd to release three more songs: “Beast Mode,” “Awakening My Inner Beast,” and “Rock the World Trippie.”

Lil signed with Bases Loaded Records after releasing “Wopster The Mixtape” in December 2016. In March 2017, he released his first studio-recorded mixtape, “Wopavelli,” then a month later, he released “Wake N Bake,” a mixtape hosted by DJ Holiday that featured numerous smash singles, including “Gotcho Bitch” and “BackWoods.”

With his reputation growing, Lil released “Wopavelli 2” in June 2017, his second major and biggest mixtape at the moment. It featured ManMan Savage and Red Smash as special guests, and it spawned big hits like “Safe House,” “Dead People,” “Broadway,” and “Lost My Mind.”

Lil ‘caught an ear’ of his idol and one of the finest rappers in modern hip hop – Gucci Mane – and became his protégé, getting a record deal with 1017 Eskimo Label, as the latter received a tremendous dosage of favorable feedback from the audience,’ scoring’ approximately 2.8 million views on YouTube.

In October 2017, Lil linked up with Trippie Redd once more to create “Angels & Demons,” a collaboration EP. Later in October, he released his third mixtape, “Wopavelli 3,” which featured 17 songs, including the singles “Workstar,” “Friday the 13th,” and “Paid In Full,” which featured Gucci Mane as a guest star.

Lil was chosen “2017 Trapper of the Year” for his efforts and the massive amount of recognition he gained virtually overnight.
