Daniel Buhala, the dance studio’s co-owner, regarded Ming Wei Ma as an exceptional dancing instructor.
According to Buhala, the late victim of the horrific shooting was always thoughtful of everyone around him and took excellent care of them.
According to reports,
the Star Ballroom boasts a large dance floor.
As a result, it was regularly used as a site for parties and other social gatherings.
Eric Chen, a pastor, and instructor in San Gabriel, said the studio massacre was shocking because it had always been a place where everyone felt safe.
Chen, who had known Mr. Ma since late 2021, described him as nice and respectful to everyone.
Yvonne Yiu, a Monterey Park council member, expressed her heartbreak and said the 72-year-old victim was her longtime dance instructor.
The council member expressed her desire to sing and dance with her teacher in heaven.

Wei Ma studied engineering at the South China University of Science and Technology.
His companion Shuhai Peng, on the other hand, stated that his actual interest was dancing and singing.
Furthermore, the victim from Monterey Park was the leader of a WeChat network for Chinese vocalists with over 400 members.
Mr. Ma also periodically organized dancing and singing activities, according to Peng.
Ma could frequently be found teaching, holding events, or simply hanging out
with friends at the Star Dance Studio, which has since closed due to the unfortunate tragedy.
