Professional Development

Ricky began his professional career as an undrafted free agent after graduating from college. 

However, he made a strong impact on the Oakland Raiders throughout training camp. 

As a result, he was called up to the team’s practice squad.

Later, in the fifth week, he earned a spot on the active roster against the San Francisco 49ers. 

He played 13 practice games last year. 

The next year, he made his NFL debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

He appeared in 16 games this season.

He became a restricted free agent with the organization in 2008. 

He suffered a groin injury and had surgery that year. 

Moving ahead, he was a restricted free agent with the organization until 2011.
