Stephen Twitch Boss was an American freestyle hip-hop dancer, choreographer, television producer, actor, and TV personality. Stephen Twitch Boss, a 40-year-old dancer-turned-DJ for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, died on December 13, 2022, raising various eyebrows as several web portals reported it was suicide.
The American Hip-hoper captured the attention of fans in 2014 when he began DJing on Ellen’s show and remained with her till the show concluded in May 2022.
In terms of choreography, The SYTYCD star studied South Korean pop/R&B singer Seven and other Y.G. Entertainment singers such as Big Bang.
USA TODAY reached out to Boss and Holker, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.
Boss died Tuesday in a hotel, according to a medical examiner’s report.
Stephen, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, began dancing at the age of 16 and finished second on the fourth season of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Stephen was pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities. Around 11:15 a.m., paramedics responded to a medical emergency at an L.A. hotel.
According to law enforcement sources, Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, was anxious because the dancer had left home without his automobile.
