Brock Jones’s Professional Career
Brock began his baseball career as a senior at Buchanan High School, where he had a great record. From 2017 to 2019, he was the All-Valley champion three years in a row and was also named a Perfect Game All-American. Jones was a member of the NorCal baseball team from 2015 to 2019 and played club baseball for the squad.
He also played football for his high school and was named All-Valley Football Champion in 2016 and 2018. On a national level, he also represented the United States at U-16 and U-17 football events.
He graduated from high school in 2020 and continued his baseball career with the Stanford Cardinal, where he is currently an outfielder in his sophomore season. In his first season, he started every game and had a season average of 0.228, demonstrating excellent form. He made his collegiate debut against Cal State Fullerton and went on to play and set records for the team the rest of the year.
He showed skill and excellence throughout the recent 2021 season, hitting three home runs and two doubles versus San Francisco, earning him the honor of Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week in March.
